CKS To Host an Open House in January
Christ the King Catholic School, located at 415 North 117th Street, is hosting a Preschool and Kindergarten Information Night on Thursday, January 22nd at 6:30pm and an All-School Open House on Sunday, January 25th from 10:00am – 12:00pm. Christ the King is a preschool – 8th grade Catholic School which has been educating children since 1939.
Christ the King has three preschool programs to offer families:
Caritas Childcare Center is a full-day/year round childcare center/preschool for children ages 2 1/2 – 6 years old. Caritas combines both Montessori teaching principles and traditional methods. Registration for Caritas is year round dependent on space in the class.
CKS also offers an Early Education Center for preschool aged children. The EEC3 is a three day/week morning preschool program for children ages 3-5. The EEC5 is a five day/week morning Pre-K program for 4 and 5 year olds. The EEC is a traditional literacy-based preschool program with lots of hands-on learning. Registration for the EEC begins at the end of January for school beginning in September.
The CKS Kindergarten program is full-day with both morning and after school care available. CKS offers a differentiated learning environment, K-8th grade Spanish instruction, music education, visual arts, library, and physical education along with a challenging core curriculum.
