Observe Salmon Fry Release at Carkeek Park
The volunteers who manage the salmon imprint pond adjacent to Venema Creek in Carkeek Park will release the first batch of imprinted salmon Tuesday March 1.
The release will be around 5:30 PM at the imprint pond, which is at the end of the Salmon to Sound Trail.
You can observe the release by visiting the site. Bring a flashlight.
