Plan How to Deal With the Viaduct Closure Before the New Tunnel Opens

Beginning soon the Battery Street tunnel and Alaska Way viaduct will be closed in preparation for routing traffic through the new tunnel that replaces it.  Commutes to downtown Seattle will be affected, and traffic that is forced onto downtown streets will increase congestion there.  If you haven’t already looked into how you can manage the impacts the Seattle Department of Transportation has information online that may help you.
