Broadview-Bitter Lake Community Council Meeting Sept. 17
Are you planning to come to the September Broadview-Bitter Lake Community Council meeting this Tuesday, September 17 starting at 7:00 pm?
Well the Seattle Planning Commission is!
Commissioners will be joining us to present their Neighborhoods for All Report, which looks at opportunities to manage the incredible growth we’ve seen in Seattle through livable, walkable, sustainable and vibrant neighborhoods that provide opportunity for future generations.
As they describe in their report…
The Seattle Planning Commission advises the City Council and the Mayor on comprehensive planning issues, including land-use and housing. The strategies in the Commission’s Neighborhoods For All report are a combination of short-term and long-term policy opportunities for elected officials and City staff to explore further with community involvement.
There will be plenty of time for Q&A, come learn more!
Additionally, school started last week but donations are still needed for our neighborhood Broadview-Thompson K-8 little Bulldogs! Please consider bringing a school supply donation to the meeting and we’ll deliver the box of supplies right away. See their supply list needs on the school’s website by clicking this link.
Round these topics out with community announcements and we’re set to have a full meeting. Hope to see you there!
